Offshore Supply Vessel, Aberdeen Harbour

I am always fascinated by how close Aberdeen Harbour is to the City Centre, how it provides the backdrop for so much day-to-day life in the City (both literally and figuratively).

I spotted the Mærsk Laser as I was walking to the railway station this afternoon, and was immediately drawn to its bright new coat of paint. I must admit, Mærsk Blue is not normally one of my favourite shades of blue, but in this light (and with that patch of 'sky-blue sky' above it) the temptation to photograph it was simply irresistible.
