If you ever get the chance, take a jaunt up Glen Strathfarrar. A jem of a Glen.

Birdsfoot trefoil, scabious, bell heather, ling, bog myrtle, birch, elder, alder, oak, whitebeam, hawthorn, red clover, scotch pine, all sorts of fungus.

There was a bird of prey, a big one. With white wing tips the size of a tea tray in flight.

Oh and the odd midge.

The rain rained and the sun sunned, and the wind blew, and it was amongst the nicest few hours I've spent with a camera and the knowledge that no one expected me back till tea time.

I got my feet wet, but it was with the purpose of getting a shot of the small waterfall so it doesn't count.
