Bank Holiday Birding

H very kindly sent me off birding today, so I spent the day between Swillington and fairburn and some of the places in between. It was a pretty good days birdwatching - After checking my notebook I saw over 40 species in a few short hours including, Marsh Harrier, Buzzard, Red Kite, Sparrow Hawk, Hobby, green sandpiper, greenshank, curlew sandpiper, little stint and host of other commoner birds.
