Happy Retirement Mum!

My mum recently retired but did so after being off sick so missed out on a retirement do. So today my sister and I gave her a little party complete with timely presents... a watch and a beautiful clock.

We had lots of fun but the two who unarguably had the most fun were my nephew Mitchell and my daughter Madeleine. They really are best friends and they had a ball playing in my mum's garden all afternoon. These games included prisoners (Mitch being the only one), Britain's got talent and wrestlers of course. I loved watching from the window when Mitchell was performing only to be met by Maddy feigning anger and throwing down her pretend pen on the table saying "That's it, I'm leaving my job!"

My mum really enjoyed her day I think although we couldn't keep her away from the sink!
