Jim- Happy Again!

Painting by Numbers.

Burano.
A wee fishing island with this village which is just incredible. Every house seems to be painted in a different colour, and each one looking as though it has been lovingly looked after. It is as though a paint box has been given to the villagers and each person has been allowed to use one of the colours in the box. It could easily look a horrible mess, but NO! It is spectacular!
In Scotland there is a town on the Island of Mull called Tobermory, and the houses on the sea front are painted different colours. But ALL the houses in Burano are painted!

Before this, we sailed to another island called Torcello where the oldest Venecian chuch is a great place to visit. The view from the bell tower is stunning. We had lunch in what felt like a very large garden - sunny but cold.

Another fantastic day!
