best of times

Had great company going up "Old Rag" today. I had forgotten what a strenuous climb it was. Maybe I was younger last time up.

It was a beautiful day and I'm glad we didn't go in July when it was 105 F.

Pizza at Rudy's in Sperryville rounded out the return home and now I'm nursing a dose of chaffed crotch with a Stella Artois.....
