Not So Incy

I very nearly hyperventilated taking this picture (which is straight from camera). I have an ENORMOUS fear of spiders and cobwebs (no idea why, it's completely irrational), but have always wanted to capture an insect up close.

So when I saw this guy chowing down on fresh wasp, I knew I wouldn't get another chance like it, especially as I would be more likely to scuttle away (hah!) indoors and try to forget about it.

I'm IMMENSELY pleased to have this picture, completely untouched (no cropping, no edited zooming, no alterations) and reasonably blur free. Considering for the love of God I couldn't stop shaking.

Permission to pat myself on the back?
