Vita

My youngest cousin, the one who came to stay a few days ago...

I think at this point she had just told me my laces weren't tied up properly, a 9-year-old really can be your biggest critic...

Today we went to the house where my Aunty Julia (the one who came to stay) and her family live. They have a YURT in their back garden (I want one, to live in) which, being their biggest room, all 12 of us sat in.

We then went out for a walk where I stole my Dad's camera and took lots of photos, of Vita, the rest of the family and the surrounding landscape.

When we arrived back at the house everyone younger than me (4 of them today) wanted to go to the playground across the road. I went with them and was rather disgusted by it. It's a brand new, state of the art sort of payground with lots of bright green and orange and plastic and zipwires. What's wrong with a few wooden bars and a battered metal swing? The funniest moment was when my Dad spotted a very wide slide and described it as: "A fat slide for the growing numbers of obese children"

After one go on the zipline (I was more interested in photo-taking) we all went back for tea in the yurt. This consisted of homemade scones with jam and cream. Yum.

After tea and a bit of chat we made our way home, and after we're now all sitting around waiting for supper...

Not much more to say... Circus tomorrow!

Bye Blip...
