Weekend Workshop Wifie

I painted this yesterday at a workshop in Dunkeld led by Colin Christie.

He taught an approach to portrait painting after which we had about 4 hours to complete a picture from a supplied photograph.

He was an excellent teacher and, while I enjoyed it very much, it was quite a tough day.

I've used the alliterative title so that I can enter it into this weekend's challenge for #sundaypics which was a photo starting with the same letter as my twitter user-name.

Oh - and did I say I've never painted in oils before in my life?That said, I will be less afraid of them now!
