Gathering winter fuel

The perfect Autumn day today. Fresh and sunny. Beautiful.
These old beech have been laying for several years and are very dry.
Bloody BT cut them down because they might have blown over and taken out the telephone wire. I pointed that this was impossible as the trees were too far away. Oh yer we made a mistake! Bloody vandals.
