Sacrifice

This is the first time I've paid a model to pose for me. But this is special as the model is my daughter.

She has sacrificed herself almost entirely to motherhood at the moment and I wanted to give her something she could spend on herself. I decided this when I saw her in Mothercare. It should be called Baby Care, I thought, and perhaps the care of the mother was not the prime consideration.

So by asking her to pose for me I was able to separate her for a second or two from the demands of motherhood and she was able to smile for me as she showed off her new hair do.
