Y shld the wedding ring be worn on the 4th finger?

I might be starting on the search of some interesting facts and blip about them. Doing this because exams are around the corner and I doubt I will have time to go for photoshoots.

Back then, my friend was showing me this video of why the wedding ring should be worn on the fourth finger. I find it really interesting, so I have decided to share it here!

First, try forming the hand sign as shown in the photo. [All your fingers and thumb sticking to one another except for the middle finger must be stick back to back]

Ok, here's the story...

The thumb represents your parents. [Try separating your thumbs, you should find it easy] Sad to say, your parents aren't gonna stay with you forever as they are gonna leave you at a certain time of your life.

The index finger represents your siblings [Try separating your index fingers, you should find it easy] Your siblings are gonna get married and lead their own life, so they will be not be by your side forever.

The middle finger represents yourself.

The last finger represents your children. [Try separating your last fingers, you should find it easy] Your children are gonna get married and have their own life and wouldn't be able to stay with you forever.

The fourth finger represents your lifelong partner. [Try separating your fourth fingers, you should not be able to separate them] That's the reason why the wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger! They are inseparable!

I find it really interesting! I never knew the reason why, but now I do! Hope it is interesting to you guys :D
