The Apple Tree

Woke up this morning to find it bright but very breezy. Him indoors raised his carcass and prepared to take the dogs for a walk. I was just about to get in the shower when he called up to me. "The wind has blown over your apple tree"

So I dashed downstairs and to my horror the wind had indeed COMPLETELY blown over the apple tree. It was 2 years old and last year had borne just a few small apples. This year it was heavy with fruit for one so small. I had intended to pick some yesterday but I forgot. Who knows, if I had done so it might still be standing :(

The wind is not my friend today.
