Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2010
What a busy day!
Off to Glasgow first thing to Scotland's Exclusive Wedding Event at the Royal Concert Hall. An event full of people selling their wares - some good, some bad and some truly awful....
The only stand to give us a freebie of substance was Debenhams - with us receiving a nice bar of Green and Blacks.
A wander to the Gallery of Modern Art to see what was going on there today. No major art installations today, but a kid's art day with lots of children making silhouette cutouts and displaying them on a white sheet - I wish I could have taken a turn.
S had to make a pitstop at Primark while in Glasgow which appear to happen *every* time we are through. I was however rewarded with lunch at Wagamama.
Homeward bound and well deserved afternoon nap before kitting ourselves up for a night at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
It has been the first time I've been to see this show in many a year - mainly due to it selling out pretty quick, but this year we were rewarded with tickets from S's work where she won a competition and got 2 tickets for the Tattoo. We were even lucky enough to get tickets for the final night's performance on the last day of the Tattoo. This has to be one of the best spectacles to see.
After all this we were glad to get home to our bed.
