Birthday Outing
Today my mum had her 81st birthday. So we had a family trip to Brechin to visit the railway, well specifically to have a wee trip on Thomas. Not really the sort of present for an 81 year old is it? The heavens open as we trundled along the line so we stayed on and by the time we arrived back in Breching the rain was off and Cameron enjoyed the bouncy castle, rides, balloonist and tattooist.
We then headed off to Montrose to the park beside the sea which had a lovely old pavillion as well as a nice coffee shop and pitch and put course. Sun came out and we had our picnic overlooking the beach.
When we got back to Perth had the old birthday cake routine organised by Cameron, candles and singing. Old folks like that sort of thing.
By the way, I also got her a ticket to see the Magic of Motown!
