Dinner....

A friend called yesterday to give me a tip on where the field mushrooms were flourishing .... so today's walk with Woofer Jnr duly went via the field.

We couldn't believe it .... the field was full of them.... rushed home having filled the basket .... immediately cooked a few .... had them on toast, with chopped parsley and goat's cheese... a few hours later, we had more in a risotto.

I love foraging for food .... its hard to beat the intense fresh flavours .... and overdosing for a short time .... until next year.
