Trip to Skipdale

or Skipton to you and me.

Always made me laugh cos when i was at my grans and watching emmerdale they were always going to Skipdale!

Anyroad. off we toddled ignoring the silly satnav man telling us to go left then left then left then left! don't know why my dad put the satnav on even i could drive to skipton with my eyes closed and i'm a non driver (well semi non driver had another lesson this morning)

My Gran and Grandad have a caravan over that way and we went to give him his b'day cards.

As you many or may not know i have a massive phobia, it is Sheep - eeeeeek.

Everything Sheep related (i can cope with wool, ugg boots and i can feet the cat lamb cat food but other than that i break out in a cold sweat) i hate going past fields of sheep, i feel queasy down the raw meat aisle in tesco if i happen to have to stop by the lamb bit, the smell of mint sauce makes me queasy and i can even heave if people talk about sheep) My mum and dad have been banned by me from cooking it in the house.

i can't explain where it has come from - i don't even like sheep cuddly toys at work a few people have sheep stress toys that the union gave out (pigs hippos and penguin as well) the other day i had to get one moved as i couldn't touch it myself and it was watching me.

So this blip may come as a surprise than i managed to take a pic of a sheep masquerading as a Dog, it took a few deep breaths and reassurance from my mum that it didn't really look like a sheep!

Stupid Stupid Phobia, but not one i want to overcome! :0)
