Mark meet Alex

Sneaky half day from work and Edinburgh Book Festival to hear Mark Beaumont. Great inspiration and good to hear about his cycle round the world and across the Americas. It was also a delight to bump into an old colleague from work and to discover that he had worked on the transcript for one of Mark's TV Programmes. They hadn't met before so great opportunity to introduce themselves.



Mark Beaumont, an adventurer from an early age, is the current world record holder of the fastest circumnavigation of the world by bicycle ? 18,296 miles in 194 days 17 hours, beating the previous record by an astonishing 81 days.
