In the spotlight

Took two children to an art workshop for an hour this morning. Three hours later, the children having created two cardboard sculptures too large to sit in the car with us without fear of serious mishap, and with hunger gnawing stomachs, we decamped to a favourite cafe to eat chocolate cake.

I deposited the children at home and turned straight round to retrieve the artworks. On the return trip this wonderful individual caught my eye!

Sadly, our own works suffered somewhat when a brisk and mischievous wind blew up at exactly the moment our cardboard creations were being carried carefully to the car!

Still, I expect the childrens' workshop will be run again next summer. Maybe one for adults too...
