Dans La Terrace

I speak amazing French.

Actually i was fairly impressed at the amount i remember when i try, having only done 3 years of it at school and the 3rd being practically pointless; our teacher was useless.

Apparently 'dans' means in and not on, which is what it meant to me. It became one of my favorite sayings too... 'In the terrace, in the beach!'

So, a week ago today (i am back blipping) we set off for France. The holiday house was only just over an hour France side of the tunnel which was easy enough. On arrival we were greeted by a plump smiling Mamzelle Bou who proceeded to speak rapid French with the parents and have them sign a hundred and one papers about this and that whilst the chubs and i watched on completely lost.

The best part of the house had to be the upstairs terrace where we enjoyed our first meal dans France. (Sometimes i get it right!)
