Old friends big day

Gemma is one of my oldest friends and last night I went along to her wedding reception. I must have known Gem since I was about fourteen or so through school friends.

I am very lucky to still have a few friends from school days although these days life keeps us all so busy that we do not see much of each other and it tends to be events such as weddings that bring us together again.

Yesterday Gemma got married to Dave, so a few of us got to catch up which was good fun with quite a few laughs.

Congratulations Gem and Dave, here's wishing you a wonderful and happy life together.

No doubt we can all catch up again at the next event whenever that may be.
