Nottingham beach
One of the things I like about Nottingham is that we are so moderate (middling, medium) - no extremes here, thank you, we're English and value the art of compromise. A drawback of this however is that being in the middle (of the country) we are so far from the SEA.
So in the summer we have a beach in the city square (you can sit on the terrace to the right of this picture to eat, and there is a large paddling pool behind the camera - not to mention the paddling fountains which are a permanent feature). There are rides, stalls and everything.
Well, why not?
