Don't Sit on the Fence

Here is the photo I promised you last week, although it did not quite turn out the way I hoped.

The contrast between the big light (off the top of the picture) and its surroundings was too large, so I ended up with a wildly oversaturated light and blurry trees because of the wind and a long shutter time.

Cranking up the exposure in Lightroom did the trick, but I had to switch to grayscale to get away with the amount of noise. I cropped off the big light for a better composition.
