Wild cat of Aberdeen

This is my Mum and Dad's cat, Sian (Gaelic for 'storm'). They got him as a kitten when he was supposedly found hiding under a rock somewhere in the Highlands - the suspicion is that he is a cross between a domestic cat and a Highland wild cat. He is now huge and utterly unapproachable. At the beginning of the year mum and dad went on the holiday of a lifetime over to the other side of the world leaving me to cage, yes cage, the beast so he could go to the cattery. After he discovered that if he ran full tilt at the locked cat flap he could get out, I had no choice but to manhandle him into his temporary prison - not recommended! I ended up being taken to the emergency department with cat bites, scratches and a hand twice the size it had been previously. It took a course of antibiotics to clear up the infection which set into my hand and I am still bearing the scars. I still think he is quite the most beautiful cat ever - just a shame he's untouchable!
