Grasshopper

Today we went up to the Schmittenhöhe (1965m) and it was our intention to walk back down to the village of Zell am See (757m). However, as we felt the first raindrops when we just arrived at the station of the cityXpress cable cars at 1326m, we decided to take the cable car down to the village. What a good decision that was! It already started pouring down with rain when we were on the way down! And we still had to walk back to our car... We were absolutely soaked! :)

We met this little alpine grasshopper (Miramella alpina) on the way down. I just love its colours!
