Linlithgow Palace
Got off my backside today to go to Linlithgow:)
Walked round Linlithgow Palace which is a ruin and was the birth place of Mary Queen of Scots and James V.
It is massive, each turret you went up had rooms and corridors off it, very impressive.
The views from the top were amazing, over to Linlithgow Loch, where I sat for a while with my book and dozens of swans and ducks making such a noise.
Then home, where I plonked myself on the sofa and promptly fell asleep. Have woken with a headache, sore throat, sore teeth(?) and feeling miserable. Great !
