Daffodil Day - coins for cancer research

AT the school I work at there was a lot of excitement today as the children made their contributions towards the Cancer Society's Daffodil Day which raises money for cancer research and to support those with cancer.

The children dressed in green and yellow and some of them painted daffodils and the families sent gold coins - the classes took turns to put their money on the flowers and over $200 was raised.
