I resisted. Not through extra-strong will-power, but just because I wasn't hungry enough. In any case, I've learned the hard way that the anticipation of certain things is better than the reality, and nine times out of ten that includes deep-fried anything.

Of course, the slim possibility of finding those elusive great chips (with vinegar - mmm) is what leads you to fall off the wagon...
