Polaroid Paranoid

Got this off ebay for a fiver on Tuesday when I was supposed to be working. (In a karmic law kind of way it cost me almost four times as much to put film in it.)

Went into McCarthur Glen for a coffee (Nero) after the gym today. There's some sort of urban myth thing doing the rounds in West Lothian about there being a terrorist attack in the centre on the 16th december. The story in the local paper goes that "an Asian man warned someone who supposedly handed him back his dropped wallet not to go near the centre on December 16."

The police have stated that it's malicious rumour and a similar thing took place in Braehead a while ago. But it's a really interesting phenomenon to behold first hand. I was in a few shops and it was quite funny how everyone had heard the story - and in each case it had happened to a friend of a friend of a friend... Anyway- might be a nice quiet day to get the Christmas shopping done.
