Otters & Butterflies

We visited a Butterfly and Otter Centre at Buckfastleigh today in Devon.

The butterflies were beautiful, it was so hot and humid, I could not take photos of them, I did manage to take this huge one which was near the entrance.

The Otters are rescued mostly their mothers being victims on the roads.
The youngsters are put into a breeding program or released.
All the offspring are released mainly into the river Dart, which flows past the centre.
