Rockhounds: The Fruit of the Labor

I've had a few rock hounds in my life. Currently, quite a few! Gathering rocks that were collected over the years by dear friends of our family and converting them into beauties such as these, are my father's passion. The spheres were created by my cousin and a dear friend of his. The slab, by my dad. It has become one of our favorite outings...gathering these amazing testimonies to the creativity of the Creator.

I have to admit that I have found myself referring...lovingly, of course... to those who spend all their time digging rocks, going to meetings about rocks, going to rock shows, polishing rocks, etc. as "Rock Nerds". Seems to fit.
