a rose

from my garden?!!!!
o my, my box of weeds and stained leaves generated a rose!

I am NOT a gardener (Remember, a sew-er not a sower) Though my father's green thumb skipped me, it went to my daughters.

But I love roses and I have a little plot in the backyard that has seen better days. It's near the top of the list of things that deserve my attention but I haven't even looked back there lately because the neglect is so depressing.

My husband brought this in yesterday. He knew I wouldn't know it bloomed unless he brought it to me. He can be so sweet!
