Hung Out to Dry

As part of the Redmond Town Center's "Denim Days" promotion, they have strung about fifteen pairs of jeans across the road as a banner. At first I tried a few shots with the Canon Powershot G11, but soon realized that a longer lens and a polarizer was needed.

After returning with a full bag of gear, I worked the scene to isolate the pants against a rare cloudless blue Seattle sky. I didn't dare wait for another day since the event only lasts until September 17th and the weather is always a crapshoot.

With luck, this will make a nice addition to my stock collection.
