silent noon

Unseasonably quiet in the tourist areas of Bath this morning, especially for such a beautiful day. No street musicians, no large groups of people waiting for entrance to the Roman Baths, no gaggle of photographers inclining their cameras to heaven to capture the spire of the Abbey. It felt strange.
