Touchdown Jesus

This portion of a mural looms over the Notre Dame football stadium and is commonly known as " Touchdown Jesus."

We were unaware of him before we arrived but spotted him from our hotel and did some sleuthing. Here is the full mural.

On a prettier note, this is the beautiful interior of the basilica, located next to the famous Golden Dome.

Other than Notre Dame, South Bend doesn't offer a lot to see (we were there on business) but we did spot this old firehouse near a wonderful restaurant where ten of us enjoyed a great evening.
