Water shortage

Got up this morning to discover we had no water supply and the kettle was empty. Grrrr.

I left the tap in the kitchen running and it took 10 minutes to get enough water for a cup of tea.

Apparently, a significant part of Warrington was without water, due to some workmen severing the main water pipe about 3 miles down the road from us at 9.30 this morning. The water came back on at 8pm. It's been a long day with an absence of brews to keep me going.

The water flow shown here was with the tap fully open just before the supply was restored. The pressure is improving - I might even be able to have a shower soon.
