Tourist markets....

As we continue our fascinating journey of Beijing, we are encouraged to stay together as a group - or rather, it is expected. We are in the middle of our second day and our young tour guides begin to show slight signs of exasperation as our group's total inability to stay together as one; they appear a bit confused at our lack of interest in doing so and some consternation as yet another of us breaks off to bargain with yet another tourist vendor.... The market stalls were scattered about, no doubt to encourage the type of behavior we indulged in, but we had a schedule to keep and press on we must!
