Geltsdale

I don't know why I haven't been before but I do know I'll be going back - often - very often. This stream runs into Tindale Tarn where there is a bird viewing area. I was accompanied by 2 noisy children today so it was just swans for us. According to the notebook left for you to note down your sightings, somebody saw an Osprey last week - I'm a little sceptical. Someone else saw 'millions of midges'. This will be correct.
