Apparently it is illegal to take pictures of birds nest (I suppose they want to deter the collectors amongst us who might be tempted to replace collecting eggs with collecting pictures of eggs - you know somebody would). Hopefully this isn't illegal as the oyster catcher is long gone... Their nest are amazing. When away with a group of children once we found a nest with three intact eggs and if you took your eye off it you just couldn't find it again. They have a knack for finding the best place to blend in.
