Fireworks test run

I had the dog out about 9 o'clock last night and noticed no flypast on at the Castle but there was a sizeable firework burst, so in the interests of walking the dog again tonight I went to a proper vantage point, tooled up with the tripod, camera, 70-200mm f2.8 lens and remote switch, as you do....

Thankfully, the Tattoo obliged again, 1 shot at it and this is what I got. Nice up there tonight, got some other nice shots of Edinburgh as the darkness fell which will make it onto Flickr in the next day or 2.

Tomorrow night, the Royal Mile beckons. Clanadonia are playing up there so that's the plan at least!
