Un des plus vieux arbres partout en France

This is a chestnut tree. It's well over a thousand years old. It's 17 metres in circumference and it lives close to our home.

I'm going to take some of the chestnuts this autumn and plant them here at Le Chant d'Oiseau. Just to keep the family alive.....
