My wife bought a rusty gate from a scrapheap.
I bought 2 50kg heavy cast-iron gateposts from a stranger.
Friends brought them all the way to us.
Another friend provided foundation material.
My brother-in-law lent his heavy column drill.

The result: a jewel in the garden!
