Old Lyttelton Customshouse

Todays Blip is of the old Lyttelton Customs-house & dry dock ( which was being filled at the time ) There's a mark on this building where the 1963 Tsunami got up to and I have seen an old picture of the dry dock being overflowed by the same Tsunami. Lyttelton in my view is probably the most vulnerable town in New Zealand to Civil Defence Hazards. ( But then I suppose I would seeing its my responsibility to plan for these emergencies ??) Cover ya backside son !!
