Mmmm nostalgic smell

I'm not sure if it makes economic sense to buy tomatoes from the supermarket like these, with the stalks still on - the stalks do weigh something, after all! But they sometimes smell wonderful - like the tomatoes in my grandfather's garden when I was a child.
