Hand me downs

As she is cleaning out her closet, sorting through the things she can longer wear (or maybe just will not ever be seen wearing), she comes across this 'dress', that is far too short to still be worn as a dress. I reminded her she's been wearing this dress since she was about 4 years old when it was far to long for safe walking, and that originally it first belonged to a cousin, who passed it to another cousin, who passed it to her.

She said - 'Wow, this dress is REALLY OLD!'

Everything is relative... it is almost as old as she is, so it must be OLD indeed!

Note to those who care about such things - Back blips have started, i wasn't sure if I should go back where I left off and go forward, or really go backward.... couldn't manage the thought process backwards, so the first back blip is June 17 here .
