Misty

Photographing an 11,5 week old chick with a macro tube proved to be quite a challenge, even when she was kept busy with nice mealworms. This is Misty, named after her brother's new owners' daughter. The young rooster needed to go because a yard in the midst of a neighbourhood isn't the best place to grow up and be loved for a rooster. Luckily his mother, aunties, sister and brother (still one left) seemed to have forgotten all about him within a few minutes after the new owners had taken him.
