Unlucky
Not much to say about today...
Rob was round and we got up quite early because I'm working for my neighbour while she's away. We unlocked the church then went round to her house, fed her cat and collected eggs from her chickens. We then went home and (apart from a quick trip to the shop) did absolutely nothing except sit in bed and watch numerous episodes of Black Books. Frankly, it was a brilliant day...
In the evening we went back to Toz's where we found a baby blue-tit in the conservatory where we feed the cat. We went back to the house for the cameras, and took photos around Toz's garden. Rob took a few of chickens and I took some of the old buildings and old farm machinery. I finally settled on this photo of a horseshoe hanging on a bolt, mostly because most of my photos were rubbish (we were in a rush and I left the zoom lens on my Dad's camera, meaning no manual focus).
We tried to rescue the blue-tit from the conservatory but it flew into the window and Toz's cat pounced... We got the cat off but the bird was already dead. We put it in a hole in a tree in the graveyard... Very sad...
Not much else happened today, nearly finished my updating!
