Thistle Down

Riches

There is a long-song,
With a high, high pitch.
About lands and money,
That will make you rich.

Life is a sweet song,
If you let it to be.
So joyous are the days,
That are filled up with glee.

For rich is the person,
Who has a good name.
Who careth about another,
And reapeth not shame.

A loving personality,
Has riches...it brings.
For it buildeth a friendship,
Where love ever sings.

So rich is the man,
Who surveys his wide goal.
Who values his learning,
And who masters...his soul.
