Well who would have thought our first home game of the season would be a 6-0 thrashing of Aston Villa with a hat-trick for his Andy Carroll in his first home premiership game in the number 9 shirt to boot. So was going to do so much more today but this completely threw me and I was in a bit of a floaty dream state for the rest of the day.

I did manage a rather nice Pibil with mexican rice and refried beans for tea and a very pleasant Ravenswood Lodi Zinfandel.
