Guess who is coming to dinner? (Or lunch!)

I live in the same area of Edinburgh as a Cardinal!

So this weekend, the road surface outside his house has been relaid. The lamp posts painted. The drive-way dug up preparing to be resurfaced. And the rather fine stone wall has been carefully repointed all the way round.

I don't suppose this is anything at all to do with the fact that the Pope is having lunch here on 16 September?

What I want to know is "why haven't the neighbours been asked in"?
